Welcome to Pistons Vinyl. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, services, and interactions with our garage. By booking a service, contacting us, or using our site, you agree to these terms.

      These terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.
    

1. Services Offered

Pistons Vinyl specializes in:

Classic car restoration (frame-off and cosmetic)
Engine rebuilds and performance tuning
Vinyl interior reupholstery and dashboard restoration
Mechanical diagnostics and maintenance

All services are performed by qualified technicians with decades of experience in vintage automotive craftsmanship.

2. Service Agreements & Estimates

Written Estimates: We provide detailed estimates before any work begins. This includes labor, parts, and projected timeline.

Approval Required: No work will commence without your written (or email) approval.

Additional Work: If unforeseen issues arise, we will contact you for approval before proceeding. You may decline additional services at any time.

3. Deposits & Payments

Deposit: A 30% deposit is required to schedule major restorations or engine rebuilds. This is non-refundable after work has begun.

Final Payment: Due upon completion and before vehicle pickup. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards (3% processing fee applies).

Payment Plans: Available for projects over $10,000. Requires credit approval and signed agreement.

4. Vehicle Storage & Pickup

Storage: Vehicles left more than 14 days after completion are subject to a storage fee of $25/day.

Pickup: You must present valid ID and proof of payment to collect your vehicle. We are not responsible for unauthorized pickups.

5. Warranty

Labor Warranty: 12 months on all engine, mechanical, and restoration work.

Parts Warranty: Varies by supplier. We pass through manufacturer warranties where applicable.

Exclusions: Damage from racing, improper maintenance, or external causes is not covered. Modifications may void certain warranties.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information about your vehicle’s history and condition.
Respond promptly to communication regarding your project.
Remove personal belongings from the vehicle before drop-off.
Ensure the vehicle is legally registered and insured.

7. Cancellation Policy

Before Work Begins: Deposits are refundable minus a $150 administrative fee.

After Work Begins: Deposit is non-refundable. You remain responsible for labor and parts incurred.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution, Pistons Vinyl is not liable for:

Pre-existing damage not disclosed at intake.
Loss or damage due to fire, flood, or other acts of God.
Consequential damages (e.g., missed events, transportation costs).

Our total liability is limited to the cost of services rendered.

9. Website Use

Our website is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, vehicle availability, pricing, and service details are subject to change without notice.

You may not scrape, copy, or misuse content from our site. All images and text are property of Pistons Vinyl.

10. Intellectual Property

The "Pistons Vinyl" name, logo, and branding are our exclusive property. You may not use them without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan, under Michigan law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance.
